Make Work Safety Month Count, Build a Strong Safety Defense Line Xinyi Solar Fully Advances Work Safety Month Activities
June 2026 marks the 25th National Work Safety Month. In strict alignment with the theme “Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies- Identify and Rectify Risks and Hidden Hazards”, Xinyi Solar has fully launched a series of targeted activities across all production bases, including safety publicity and education, full-scope risk and hazard inspections, and on-site practical emergency drills. Focusing on key risk points in the entire photovoltaic production chain, the company mobilized all employees to participate in self-inspection and rectification of hidden dangers, effectively improved safety awareness among front line personnel, and ensured the stable development of the enterprise through solid safety management and control.
Coordinated Planning and Deployment to Consolidate the Foundation of Safety Management
On May 30, 2026, the Safety Committee Office of Xinyi Solar hosted and organized the kick-off meeting for the “Work Safety Month” campaign. The meeting systematically reviewed safety production performance from January to May, identified existing weaknesses and risk loopholes, and publicized and implemented the activity plan for the year. Heads of all bases delivered summary statements and commitments. Liu Xiaorong, Vice President of Xinyi Solar, made special arrangements for key safety tasks throughout the month.
Starting in June, all bases successively held kick-off meetings for Work Safety Month to refine and implement the Group’s requirements, press safety responsibilities down to every level, and achieve full coverage of safety management across all plants. Collective safety oaths and responsibility signature campaigns were conducted on site to build consensus among all employees and consolidate the ideological line of defense for safe production.
Diversified Safety Promotion Empowers Staff to Boost Overall Safety Initiative
All bases foster a strong safety awareness atmosphere via factory banners, warning posters, electronic screens and safety manuals. Employees receive tiered training on safety regulations, management rules and operating procedures, alongside viewing accident alert videos. Through special lectures, pre-shift briefings, case discussions and practical training, accident cases are analyzed to solidify the safety line. Meanwhile, competitions on safety knowledge and emergency skills are organized, and an online rewarded activity of "Spot & Report Hidden Dangers" is launched. These initiatives fully motivate employees to conduct self-inspections and improve their capabilities in risk identification, prediction and prevention.
Comprehensive Risk Inspection and Closed-loop Management to Secure Production Bottom Lines
Guided by the core principle of “Identifying and Rectifying Potential Risks and Hazards”, all production bases prioritize key operational points including confined spaces, hot work, special equipment and electrical pipelines. Management staff, technical personnel and front line teams jointly carry out targeted inspections. A three-level inspection system- team self-checks, inter-departmental cross checks and group oversight- ensures full coverage across all factory areas and production workflows. For detected hazards and irregularities, we maintain dedicated accounts with clear designation of responsible persons, rectification plans and time limits. Follow-up reviews and acceptance verification are conducted throughout the process to curb safety incidents at the source.
Real-Scenario Drills for Practical Combat, Forging Strong Emergency Response Capabilities
Each base carries out multi-scenario emergency drills tailored to its production risks, including fire fighting, first aid for electric shock, confined space rescue, heat stroke treatment and mechanical injury response. The entire drill is conducted in strict accordance with real on-site working conditions. All personnel follow the emergency plan to complete the full response process: hazard reporting, personnel evacuation, site isolation, casualty care and equipment shutdown. Real-scenario exercises verify the practical applicability of emergency plans, optimize response procedures and effectively improve employees’ practical capabilities in rapid response, self-rescue and mutual assistance.
Deepen Themed Training to Consolidate Solid Safety Management Competence
The Safety Committee Office of Xinyi Solar, together with the safety management departments of all bases, has carried out tiered special safety training sessions. Themed courses are delivered focusing on two priorities: review of major and serious industrial accidents and practical operation of hazard investigation and correction. In light of the production characteristics of the photovoltaic industry, the training analyzes the root causes of accidents, interprets statutory responsibilities for work safety and the Group’s control standards, and explains the supporting role of full-process safety control in ensuring stable operation of the enterprise. It continuously enhances the professional capabilities of managers at all levels in risk prediction and on-site governance, and improves the level of primary-level safety management.
On-Site Q&A to Popularize Common Sense of Safety and Risk Avoidance
All bases simultaneously launched the "Safety Consultation Day" activity. Popularization was conducted covering on-site fire fighting practice, electrical operation protection, high temperature heatstroke prevention, confined space risk avoidance, home drowning prevention and other contents. Consultation desks were set up in the factory area and promotional materials were distributed. Safety management specialists provided face-to-face answers and carefully responded to various questions from employees, effectively connecting the "last mile" of safety publicity.
Only by consolidating the safety foundation can we achieve steady and sustained development. Xinyi Solar will always prioritize workplace safety, translate the effective practices of the Safety Month into routine management mechanisms, and continuously advance the long-term mechanism of “Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies”. We will build a comprehensive and all-around safety protection network, and support the Group’s high-quality and sustainable development with a solid and reliable safety management system.
